Madrid welcomed faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to highlight dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.
During the event, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity Madrid contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
